Glow Music Concert No.4
My new work, Two Sara Teasdale Songs for soprano and piano, commissioned by Glow Music, will be premiering by Meg Booker, soprano, and Noah Jacobsen, piano, at Arco, Myaamia Hall, Cincinnati, OH.
Indiana State University - Faculty and Guest Artist Series
Indiana State University professor Yunjung Lee, violin; Dr. Dong Yeol Hong, cello; and Dr. Kyung Hoon Kim, piano, will perform my piano trio, solace (2022), in the Faculty and Guest Artist Series concert.
CCM Philharmonia: Composers Reading

Romance and Fantasy
My solo cello work I was alone in this unique darkness will be receiving its Chinese premiere by cellist Yijia Fang, cello faculty at Shenyang Conservatory of Music.
Mivos Quartet
My new work for string quartet ‘Blossom’ (Mvt I), will be premiered at the Mozarthaus, Vienna, Austria by the award-winning Mivos Quartet.
The Mivos Quartet, “one of America’s most daring and ferocious new-music ensembles” (The Chicago Reader), is devoted to performing works of contemporary composers and presenting diverse new music to international audiences. Since the quartet's beginning in 2008 they have performed and closely collaborated with an ever-expanding group of international composers representing a wide aesthetic range of contemporary composition. Highlights during the 2022/23 season will include performances and residencies at Walker Arts Center with Cécile McLorin Salvant and Ambrose Akinmusire, UPenn, ECLAT Festival (DE), Columbia University, Peak Performances with Mary Halvorson, and the announcement of a new album of Steve Reich string quartets.
Fairies, Swans and Still Waters
I will be the assistant conductor and conduct Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Prologue with CCM Concert Orchestra and CCM Ballet.

The concert will feature my song movement from the first Symphony, “Only Breath.” Soprano Hyein Hong will be the soloist, and I will accompany her on the piano.
This song was composed during the time of covid, and it is the central movement of my Symphony No.1, “Only Breath.” However, this song did not receive a public performance due to that unusual time and circumstances until now.
